FESTA DE LA VEREMA DE SITGES

Here the begining of autumn ususally comes with celebration of grape harvest, called verema, anyway another festa is here. This is very rich of traditions celebration and beside that wine makers present their products, therefore people have a possibility to taste them.

For a first time I saw a concurs of grape treading.
So here we come - firs step to be full of energy and to have a serious attitude.


Second step - just to fulfill the pots with grapes.


And thirdly to smash, smash, smash as much as you can to get out maximum amount of juice in given time. And for sure to have a lot of fun as well.



Music, happy people and a lot of good wine, in the evening sardanas concert and dance in the sunset near the sea and thanks for another good harvest.

IDYLLIC WEEKEND

Just a perfect day or perfect days. Weekend in a nature and complete feeling of freedom. I assume, that time in mountains always allows us to meet ourselvs and to feel pure love and to generate new ideas to develope in our future. No limits and no rush, just fresh air and green trees and some mountain rivers and interesting converations. Sometimes nothing is everything. Being out with your most loved people makes the day so special and unforgettable.

PROVENCE

Spontaneousity always leads to new adventures. Let`s go to see fields of lavanda in Provence and to enjoy the smell of them. Early morning next day full of inspiration to discover some part of France we were already in the car. No special plans just a big map and a very good mood. It is really interesting that even if both countries are nearby the culture, nature of people and nature itself differ quite a lot. It was nice to see some rivers and lakes that I really miss living here.






The first stop was Agde - greek town near the sea, very charming and cosy and inspiring, so many cute cafees and art galleries and small shops, people enjoying the time. There is no France without creps, and they are so tasty. We took our time to enjoy the small magic town and the evening theatre performance on a stage on a river. French people are really proud of themselfs, their language and culture - that was really obvious.




And here they are fields of lavanda, so many, so lilla and the smell, allover the smell of lavanda. We stay in just brand new restaurated country house in middle of all those fields, honestly real sensations of mirracle of nature. Bees really like them, there were plenty of them working in lavanda. A breakfast comes with honey of lavanda and a real peace of nature. Collecting jobs of lavanda were started some days ago, so we were just in time.
Several ideas of further destinations were trying to attack us, but the winner was a will to be in Alps. Val d`Allos was waiting for us, the hight is just 1900 m, but it is already enought to enjoy the power of nature and energy of these beautiful mountains. I felt in love with Alps easely, was walking and walking around all day long, we managed to do some small trecking as well. The sportive atmosphere was very inspirening to reach the highest peaks and to be more closer to the sky.




It was really funny a way we communicated with people as almost nobody in the places we were spoke English, so Pol needed to improvise with a knowledge of language he has. Mainly we were following to our intuition.
There is quite a lot of agriculture in south of France - apples, peaches, pears and cherries. And for sure the beautifull sunflower fields!


Charm is all around there, it is like poeple born with it already in the blood. All those days passed so quickly and with idea - let`s leave the party when it is the most interesting, we came back home, one day pass of France and we were already here. So totally we were driving exacly 24 hours and we won 1500 km and full bag of new impressions!

INDEPENDENCE DEMOSTRATION

I was making a history!
Som una nació, nosaltres decidim, prou, ara es l'hora - these and a lot of other slogans were cryed and carried by almost 1.500.00o people, participating in the demonstration for the independence of Catalunya. The huge feeling of unity and patriotism was making belief get more stonger.

CORPUS CHRISTI IN SITGES

This Sunday in Sitges I got involved in a chatolic celebration called Corpus Christi. In several cities in Spain due to this celebration there are layed down flowers on the streets in different ornaments. All those beautifull flower compositions beside being enjoyed by people eyes also participate in a contest. It was really interesting to see the process of making them in a previos night. The great pity was rain, which managed to make some damage. My favourite one was Alise in Wonderland, very original approah. The evening was followed by parade of giants, people happy singing and dancing and ejoying the see and sun and a fresh breeze.

CASAMANYA

What to do in the last day of May? - to treck in Casamany. This is my most loved mountain in Pyrenees in Andorra as far. So many times before I was mentioning it breathing and taking a sun or enjoying the snow. Somehow its shape and peace inspires me.


The weather was not our best friend that day, but inspite of it, we decided to go up. And we almost did it. It is so interesting to feel that there is higher power than ours, what we need to admit. The huge wind and rain made us to leave reaching the sumit for next time. Hopefully soon!

MONTSERRAT

A very beautiful Sunday morning and expectations - to go to see Montserrat - a very special mountain in Catalunya and I would say a proudness as well, and one of the biggest objects of tourism here. A lot of religious people all around the world come here to pray in a cloister and to touch a virgin which untypically is black.


Inspite of a huge ammount of people I felt that special atmosphere there. Very beautifull paths in a mountain and incredible views, therefore also a big choise of trecking possibilities.
